Stainless steel exports to USA down 58%, products down 5%

In November, the volume of stainless steel exported from mainland China to the United States was about 3,400 tons (about 1% of the total domestic exports), down 100 tons or 2.6% from the previous month. A decrease of 4,600 tons, or 58%, compared with the same period last year.

From January to November 2019, the amount of stainless steel exported from mainland China to the us is about 53,000 tons (accounting for about 1.6% of the total domestic exports), a decrease of 8,600 tons, or 13.9%, compared with the same period last year. The volume of stainless steel products was about 121,000 tons, an increase of 7,000 tons or 6.1%.
